HERB GARDENS I seem to have this passion for herbs, I think it's the fragrance, the stimulation to my scent perception that draws me to them. I'm confused just where this obsession came from or why it encompasses me...sweet oregano or soft lavendar can take me into a dreamlike state in only a few short deep breaths. And basil...oh, don't even get me going on basil. It moves me. PHOTOGRAPHY My other obsession is photography. At 10 years of age my photography career began, my friend Carol with the sun setting behind, centre framed (in all my innocence) and 23 other photos of the sunset...an inch to the left, an inch to the right. My roll 24 gone in an instant. Why behind the camera...you ask? Just so many cool subjects to record. My favourite subjects are my boys and my many and varied nieces and nephews. Cool personalities I love to catch on film. Call me weird...it works for me! I still have that pic of Carol and the sunset. Possibly she will be famous one day..."the girl in the sunset" by an unknown photographer. Enjoy my photos, enjoy my garden!! Catherine
